Julia Spatafore Garone Mrs. Garone, 81, of Matawan, died Oct. 10, 2007, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Montecristo, N.Y., she resided in Middletown before relocating to Matawan 17 years ago. Mrs. Garone was a homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter N. Garone, in 1988; two sisters; and a brother. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Keyport, with interment at the church's cemetery. Arrangements were by Day Funeral Home, Keyport.
