Florence M. Lau

Mrs. Lau, 92, of Matawan, died Oct. 10, 2007, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge division. Born in Jersey City, she was a lifelong resident before relocating to Matawan recently. She was a former communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Jersey City. She was predeceased by her husband, William, in 1977. She is survived by two sons and daughters in-law, John and Carole of Great Falls, Va., and William and Camille of Jackson; a daughter and son-pin-law, Joan and Richard Kopps of Manalapan; nine grandchildren; and 18 greatgrandchildren. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Aloysius Church. Interment was at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City. Arrangements were by Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan.
