Gertrude S. Peddie Gurczeski Mrs. Gurczeski, 79, of Hazlet, died Oct. 11, 2007, at home. Born in Scotland, she resided in Jersey City prior to relocating to Hazlet eight years ago. Mrs. Gurczeski was a homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband, Theodore Gurczeski, in 1980; and a brother, Douglas Peddie. She is survived by two sons and daughtersin law, Francis and Angela Gurczeski of Blairstown, and John and Stacie Gurczeski of Hazlet; a brother, George Peddie of Bayonne; and six grandchildren. Interment was at Shoreland Memorial Gardens, Hazlet. Arrangements were by Day Funeral Home, Keyport. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 801 Broad St., Shrewsbury 07702.
