Register for Recreation's 'Mad Science' by Nov. 2 Hazlet Recreation will sponsor a eightweek "Mad Science" program for children in grades one through three beginning Nov. 5 from 4:30-5:30 p.m., with deadline to register Nov. 2. Classes will cover "Detective Science," "Kitchen Chemistry," "Movie Effects," and other topics. Fee is $96, with a $15 fee after Nov. 2. Classes are at Cullen Center, 1776 Union Ave., Hazlet. A co-ed basketball clinic for grades three through eight will be Nov. 8 and 9 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Hazlet Middle School, Union Avenue. Cost is $60, with a $15 late fee after Nov. 7. A trip to see "South Pacific" in New York City will be held March 30. Cost is $80 for transportation and rear loge seating.
