Center announces blood drives for November Central Jersey Blood Center, Shrewsbury, has announced the following local blood drives: • Nov. 4 from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at St. Benedict's Roman Catholic Church, 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel • Nov. 5 from 5:30-9 p.m. at new Monmouth Baptist Church, 4 Cherry Tree Farm Road, Middletown • Nov. 7 from 6-9 p.m. at Middletown Elks Lodge, 251 Church St., Belford section of Middletown • Nov. 10 from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at St. Catharine's Roman Catholic Church, 108 Middletown Road, Holmdel • Nov. 15 from 5-8:30 p.m. at St. Catherine's Roman Catholic Church, 5 Shore Acres Ave., North Middletown • Nov. 20 from 5:30-9 p.m. at Hazlet Fire Company, Keyport Holmdel Road • Nov. 25 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at St. Clement's Roman Catholic Church, 172 Freneau Ave., Matawan • Nov. 28 from 2-6 p.m., a Holmdel Township Education Association drive at Holmdel High School, 36 Crawfords Corner Road. Donors for any of the above drives receive a free T-shirt. The donation process takes about an hour. Donors must also complete a medical history interview and have a mini-physical (temperature, iron, pulse and blood pressure screening). Interested donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 120 pounds and be in good health. All donors must present signature ID at time of registration.
