Globetrotters, open house scheduled at Brookdale
Brookdale Community College (BCC), Newman Springs Road, Lincroft section of Middletown, will hold an open house for prospective students, families and friends Nov. 8 at 10 a.m., with reservations requested by Nov. 1. Highlights include campus tours, and presentations on academic programs of study, job training and future careers, financial aid opportunities, and information on clubs and campus activities. BCC and Cabaret For Life (CFL) Inc. will present "The Rocky Horror Show," Nov. 9 and 10 at 8 p.m. at the PAC. Director is Dan Johnson, Holmdel. The cast features BCC students and local community actors. Phantoms in the musical include Brookdale students Victoria Cedeno and Zac Silva, Hazlet; Anthony Tolentino, Leonardo section of Middletown; and Andrew Velez, Matawan. Tickets are now available for the Harlem Globetrotters in the "Magic As Ever" world tour March 18 and 19 at 7 p.m. at Collins Arena. The Globetrotters will perform basketball skills and wizardry, with a focus on family entertainment. Globie, the team's mascot, will also be on hand. An autograph session will follow each game. Tickets start at $28.
