Swing era dance at Gibbs Hall Nov. 9 The Brookdale Community College center for World War II studies and conflict resolution will hold its annual dinner Nov. 9 from 7-11 p.m. at Gibbs Hall, Fort Monmouth, Eatontown. The event will feature swing era music performed by Brookdale's Big Band, with vocals by Barbara Baron. It will also feature a cash bar, dinner and dancing. Forties-style dress or uniform is optional but encouraged. The band directed by Joe Accurso will perform tunes such as "Moonlight Serenade," and "Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree."
