Society's 'Tea on the Titanic' a great success
On behalf of the Keyport Historical Society, I would like to thank everyone who helped to make "Tea on the Titanic" fashions and tea a great success. The Keyport Yacht Club, our host, made a perfect setting for the event. Jackie La Polla and the Performing Arts Ensemble shared history and a glimpse of life and fashions of the times. A wonderful and diligent committee worked many hours planning and preparing for the day. Merchants and friends donated gifts to make it a huge success. Girl Scout Troop 1699 of Union Beach, served tea, sandwiches, and desserts with gracious style. Their help was invaluable.

We hope our guests enjoyed the voyage on the Titanic, and will return next year to take a peek at history in the style of bygone days. The success of this event allows the members of the Keyport Historical Society to preserve the history of Keyport and enhance the exhibits at the Steamboat Dock Museum. Thanks to all involved.
