Facts about cell towers

The New Jersey Coast Section of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers will host two talks on the afternoon of Nov. 11 on some common misconceptions about cell phone towers, at the InfoAge Museum at the historic Camp Evans Site in Wall Township.

Elya Joffee, an expert in the field, will address the truth and fiction surrounding cell phone towers in residential areas, starting at 1 p.m.

This will be followed at 3 p.m. with a technical question-and-answer session.

The talks are free and open to the general public, but registration is required. A light lunch and refreshments will be served.

For more information and to register online, go to http://ewh.ieee.org/r1/njcoast/ or call the InfoAge Museum at (732) 280-3000.
