Register by Nov. 30 for Hazlet Rec karate classes Hazlet Recreation is accepting registration for its karate lessons for children age 4-12. Classes begin Dec. 1 and will be held for 10 Saturdays from 10-11 a.m. at Amato's Studio, Palmer Avenue, Hazlet. A uniform is required and may be purchased at a discount from the studio. Classes are $35, with a $15 late fee after Nov. 30. Adult art classes will be offered for five Mondays beginning Dec. 10 from 7-8:30 p.m. at James J. Cullen Center, 1776 Union Ave., Hazlet. Needed are tubes of red, yellow, blue, black and white acrylic paint; an 11 by 14 or nine by 12 inch canvas board; and acrylic brushes. Cost is $40, with a $15 late fee after Dec. 7.
