Rico A. Paone

Mr. Paone, 83, of Middletown, died Nov. 3, 2007, at home. Born in South Nyack, N.Y., he resided in West Nyack, N.Y., prior to relocating to Shadow Lake Village in 2000. He was a salesperson at Texaco Oil Co., East Brunswick, and part-time employee at Big T Truck Plaza, East Brunswick. Prior to that, he was a collection person at Taylor Oil, Summerville, for 10 years, retiring in 1985. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a communicant and usher since 1974 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, New Monmouth section of Middletown. He was predeceased by his wife, Mildred David Paone in 1994; and three brothers, Frank, Anthony and Albert Paone. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Maureen Paone of Middletown; four brothers, Joe Paone of Middletown, N.Y.; Salvatore Paone of Monroe, N.Y.; Carmine Paone of Mount Ivy, N.Y.; and Angelo Paone Jr. of Melbourne Beach, Fla.; two sisters, Theresa Scalise of Cornwall, N.Y., and Rose Hall of Washington, N.Y.; and three grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Mary's Church. Burial was at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown. Arrangements were by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
