Irene C. Biel Shuttleworth Mrs. Shuttleworth, 88, of Hazlet, died Oct. 22, 2007, in Regency Park Care Center, Hazlet. She was predeceased by her husband, Capt. Edwin J. Shuttleworth. Surviving are a daughter, Carol Walker of the Cliffwood Beach section of Old Bridge; two sons, Edwin T. of Bonita Springs, Fla., and James H. of Egg Harbor Township; a brother, Thomas Bile of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church, Holmdel, followed by interment in St. Teresa Cemetery, Summit. The Day Funeral Home, Keyport, was in charge of arrangements.
