Holmdel mayor, chairman thank residents
We wanted to take a moment to thank you for your confidence in re-electing our mayor. We are delighted you have agreed with continuing the success of the Republican administration, and we promise to maintain the quality of life to which you have grown accustomed.

We would also like to thank all those who helped us achieve our win, whether is was challenging at the polls, making phone calls or stuffing envelopes. Each of you played an important role in ensuring a win this past November.

Holmdel Township is a special place, and we want to assure you that your needs will always be put first. We will continue to stabilize the tax rate and achieve results similar to this year's budget. We will not be bullied by developers who put their interests before Holmdel, and we will continue to provide stable and steady leadership. We look forward to working with returning committee member Janet Berk, as well as our current members, Deputy Mayor Alan Bateman and Committeemen Larry Fink and Rocco Pascucci.

As a thank you, we would like to invite you to our first annual holiday get-together. It will be held Dec. 12 from 7-9 p.m. at the firehouse on Route 520. Come to meet your Republican leaders; we have invited Sen. Joseph Kyrillos and our Assembly members as well as our Freeholders. This is a great time to just enjoy each other's company and to celebrate the old and new years. We hope you can make time to join us.

Lastly, please join the Township Committee as they reorganize on Jan. 1 at noon. If you would like to volunteer for a position on one of the committees, please call the clerk at (732) 946-2820, ext. 1212.
