Hazlet Recreation offices closed Dec. 24-Jan. 1
Hazlet Recreation Commission, James J. Cullen Center, 1776 Union Ave., has announced its office will be closed Dec. 24-Jan. 1.
The commission is offering cardiokickboxing for 16 lessons, Mondays and Wednesdays from 7-8 p.m. beginning Jan. 7. Cost is $77, with a $15 late fee after Jan. 4. Attendees should bring a mat/towel, water bottle, and light hand weights weighing 3 to 5 pounds. Cardiokickboxing for beginners will be offered for 12 Saturdays from 9:30-10:30 a.m. beginning Jan. 5. Cost is $60, with a $15 late fee after Jan. 4. A mat/towel and water bottle are required.
Gymnastics for girls and boys will be offered for 16 lessons Mondays and Wednesdays beginning Jan. 7 at Cove Road School, Hazlet. Lessons will be at 5:40 p.m. for girls and boys age 5-8, 6:50 p.m. for girls only age 5-8, and 8 p.m. for girls age 9-14. Cost is $58, with a $15 late fee after Jan. 4. Beginner Pilates for individuals age 18 and older will be offered for eight Tuesdays from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. beginning Jan. 8. A mat or towel and water are required, and participants should not eat for two hours before the class begins. Cost is $87, with a $15 late fee after Jan. 7.
Body conditioning for adults will be offered for eight weeks Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:15-10:15 a.m. Sneakers, an exercise mat/towel and water bottle are required. Cost is $77, with a $15 late fee after Jan. 7. All the above are at Cullen Center, 1776 Union Ave., Hazlet, unless otherwise noted.
