Robert J. Talian
Mr. Talian, 84, ofMiddletown, died Dec. 18, 2007, at home. Born in Bayonne, he resided in Roselle Park prior to relocating toMiddletown 50 years ago. He was a carpenter at Exxon Corp., Linden, formore than 40 years, retiring in 1982. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a communicant at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, New Monmouth section of Middletown. He was predeceased by a brother, Charles Talian; and a sister, Audrey Talian. He is survived by his wife, Marie Terczak; five daughters and sonsin law, Beverly and Gregory Fitzgerald ofMiddletown, Karen and Gary Fitzgerald of Fair Haven, Susan and RobertWarncke of the Lincroft section of Middletown, Sharon Talian of Tinton Falls, and Marie Talian of New York City; a son and daughter-in-law, Neil and Kim Talian of Virginia; two brothers and three sisters in-law; William and Phyllis Talian of North Brunswick, Joseph andMarcia Talian of Linden, and Eleanor Talian of South Amboy; and nine grandchildren. Arrangements were by John F. Pfleger FuneralHome,Middletown. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Mary's Church. Burialwas at St.Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia section ofWoodbridge.
