Joseph Patrick Duggan

Mr. Duggan, 86, of Hazlet, died Dec. 11, 2007, at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center, New Brunswick. Born in Cambridge,Mass., he resided in New York City, and Keansburg for 30 years, prior to relocating toHazlet in 1994.He was an electrical installer atWestern Electric,NewYork City, retiring in 1981. He was also employed at the Metropolitan Opera several years. Her served with the U.S. MerchantMarines duringWorldWar II.He enjoyed Irish music, the Boston Red Sox, card games andAtlantic City.He was predeceased by his wife, Sheila Duggan in 2005; and his siblings, John, Mary, Edward and Francis. He is survived by four daughters and three sons-in-law, Maureen and William Collins of Keyport, Sheila andWolfgang Schneider of Bangkok, Patricia and Edward Truax of Howell, and Debra of Scottsdale, Ariz.; a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Coleen Duggan Jr. of Middletown; and three grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, Keansburg. Burial was at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown. Arrangements were by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
