Aberdeen Township Recreation Department has scheduled a trip for seniors to see "Kiss Me Kate- A Cole Porter Musical" at Paper Mill Playhouse, Millburn. The trip will be May 14, and deadline to register is April 1. Cost is $61 for nonresidents, and $56 for residents for transportation and show. Buses depart at 11 a.m. from the parking lot at A&P, Route 35, Cliffwood section of Aberdeen, and 11:30 a.m. at Temple Shalom, Ayrmont Lane and Church Street,Aberdeen. St. Clement Church, Route 79, Matawan, will host a "Welcome Spring" songfest April 12 at 7:30 p.m. Featured will be choirs from the Roman Catholic parishes of St. Benedict, Holmdel; St. Clement; St. Joseph, Keyport; and St. ThomasMore,Manalapan. The choirs will perform individually, then join together during the last half of the program. There is no charge, but donations will be welcome to benefit Clement House for families in crisis.
