SICA calls for works

The Shore Institute of the Contemporary Arts in Long Branch is seeking contemporary artworks in all media for inclusion in an exhibition, "Ocean," which will be part of the second annual Ocean Film & Arts Festival.

The festival is a collaborative effort between SICA, The Two River Film Festival and Monmouth University.

The call is for artwork in all media that comments on or investigates our everchanging relationship with our ocean and shorelines. The exhibit will run April 11- 25 at SICA, 20 Third Ave.

Entry fee, including insurance and handling fees, is $20 for two submissions. Additional submissions are possible for an additional fee.

The deadline for submissions is 5 p.m. Feb. 29.

Jurors will be Tom Baker, professor at Monmouth University's Art Department, and Douglas Ferrari, executive director of SICA.
