Lucy Bruno DiBenedetto Mrs. DiBenedetto, 77, of Sayreville, died Dec. 19, 2007, at RobertWood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in the Bronx, N.Y., she resided there before relocating to Sayreville 12 years ago. Before her retirement, Mrs. DiBenedetto was a sales person at Sears department store in the Bronx, where she was employed more than 20 years. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Victories Roman Catholic Church, Sayreville. She was predeceased by her husband, Edmund A. DiBenedetto, in 1989. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Edmund and Kathryn DiBenedetto of Middletown; a daughter and son-in-law, Diana and William Woods of Sayreville; a brother, Joseph Bruno of New York City; and a grandson.AMass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Our Lady of Victories Church. Burial was at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla, N.Y. Arrangements were by Maliszewski Memorial Home, Sayreville.
