Anna Della Pietro Schwarz

Mrs. Schwarz, 83, of Matawan, died Dec. 19, 2007, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Matawan, she resided in Freehold prior to relocating to Matawan six years ago. She was an office clerk and salesperson at Foodarama, Freehold, retiring in 1978. She was a communicant ofMost Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, Old Bridge. She was a member of St. Clement's Seniors, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary, both Matawan. She as predeceased by two sisters, Philomenia Lanzaro and Rose Ciccone; and two brothers, Sam Della Pietro and Fred Della Pietro. She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Elizabeth Schwarz of Plainsboro, andAntoinette and Charles D. Leventhal of Freehold; two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Diane Schwarz of West Bradford, Pa., and Mark and Debbie Schwarz of Kennasaw, Ga.; two sisters, Theresa Esposito and Antoinette Guisti, both of Matawan; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank and Laverne Della Pietro ofMatawan, and Carmen and Lucille Della Pietro of Keyport; a sister-in-law, Lillian Della Pietro of Matawan; and four grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Most Holy Redeemer Church. Entombment was at St. Rose of Lima, Freehold.Arrangements were by Day Funeral Home, Keyport.
