Baby-sitting, 'Home Alone' courses offered The nonprofitMatawan Student Enrichment Program (MSEP) has added two new courses, "Home Alone: The Workshop" and "Be a Better Babysitter," both taught by Maggie Powell. Classes begin Feb. 9. "Home Alone" may be attended by the student and parent for the same registration fee; the program explores topics such as home security, phone use, safety and first aid. The class is for students who are or will soon be home alone. The baby-sitter course is designed to help sitters learn first aid and pediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and how to respond to emergencies and provide ageappropriate care and play opportunities.
