Something more troubling than global warming
Idon't fear global warming as much as I fear global stupidity. We couldn't have the first problem without the second.

But then againwewouldn't have either to fear, if we had managers with moral competency at both the corporate and governmental levels. It's the absence of them that we should fear.

We need leaders committed to providing uswith the truth and action to save theworld and ourselves from drowning or extinction fromsome other environmental poisoning.

Do are schools not teach the algae dish experiment, where the successful algae all die in their own toxic waste?

Recently an environmental group recommended that adherents to Judaismburn one less candle thisHanukkah.Arewe not grasping at straws? Why don't all environmentalists cry toDetroit tomake an all-electric car?

Does anyone really care?Or is apathy the thing to fear?

I suggest we fear themall. Herbert Porter
