Emma E. Trought Rue

Mrs. Rue, 92, of Middletown, died Jan. 13, 2008, at Arnold Walter Nursing Home, Holmdel. Born in East Windsor, she resided in Hightstown prior to relocating to Middletown 65 years ago. She was a homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, John Rue in 2003; and a daughter, Virginia Dunphy in 2000. She is survived by two sons, John Rue of Atlantic Highlands, and Wayne Rue of Middletown; a sister, Dorothy Cook of Hightstown; and seven grandchildren. Visitation will be Jan. 16 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. A funeral service will be Jan. 17 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by entombment at Woodbridge Memorial Park.
