One more person at polls does make a difference
How can anyone think his vote doesn't matter after what occurred in the recent Matawan mayoral election?!

Paul Buccellato lost to incumbent Mary Aufseeser by one vote! Mr. Buccellato pursued a recount that turned up one more vote for him- and that tied the race.

All we needed was one more person to have gone to the polls that first time around to decide the election for either candidate. For lack of that single vote, a second election was necessary. The borough hasn't received the bill for expenses yet, but it is estimated that the second election has cost Matawan taxpayers between $15,000 and $20,000.

The presidential primary will take place in New Jersey Feb. 5; every vote is important.
