Frederic S. Fillingham

Mr. Fillingham, 82, died Jan. 16, 2008, at the Hospice Center, Searcy, Ark. Born in Rochester, N.Y., he resided in Florida prior to relocating to Arkansas. He was employed for more than 30 years at Bell Laboratories, Holmdel, retiring in 1987. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was an avid sailor and member of two local area yacht clubs. He was predeceased by his wife, Janet; and a son, Andrew. He is survived by his two sons, Fred Fillingham Jr., and Michael of Arkansas; a daughter, Martha of Georgia; and two granddaughters. Arrangements were by Cabot (Ark.) Funeral Home.
