Raymond Z. Piasecki Mr. Piasecki, 81, of Surrey Downs, Howell, died Jan. 23, 2008, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. He was born in Newark and had lived in Hazlet andMiddletown for 13 years before moving to Surrey Downs 15 years ago. Mr. Piasecki earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), Newark. Prior to retiring 10 years ago, he was an electrical engineer with Thomas & Betts Corp., Raritan, for 30 years. He then worked as a computer consultant at the Lakehurst NavalAir Station. Surviving are his wife, Dolores A. Piasecki; three sons, Raymond Piasecki of San Diego, Douglas Piasecki of Texas and Kenneth Piasecki of Toms River; two daughters, Beverly Koch of IslandHeights and Deborah Grzelak of Colts Neck; a brother, Henry P. Piasecki of Hillside; a sister, Helen Rynk of Freehold; and 10 grandchildren. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Freehold, followed by entombment at St. Gabriel's CemeteryMausoleum, Marlboro. Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, was in charge of arrangements.
