Child Find effort under way

The Middletown Township Board of Education is conducting its "Child Find" effort for Middletown residents.

Parents and/or guardians with concerns about the educational development of a preschool child including homeless and migrant children who will be age 3 within the next year, children including homeless and migrant ages 3-5, should contact the township's Office of Pupil Services. Parents and/or guardians of school-age children including homeless and migrant between ages 6-21 should contact the child's school principal and/or guidance counselor.

The child may be experiencing physical, sensory, emotional, communication, cognitive or social difficulties, and parents and/or guardians are encouraged to call the Office of Pupil Services at (732) 671-3850, exts. 1034, 1035, 1037 or 1038; or visit the Web site www.middletownk12.org.
