Input sought for disaster survey

ABERDEEN - The township is working withMonmouth County's Emergency Management Office to identify natural hazards and plan for future disasters as part of the county's Multi-jurisdictional Natural Hazard Mitigation Planning Project.

Residents are being asked to complete a survey, available online, to help officials gauge the level of knowledge local citizens have about natural disaster issues and areas vulnerable in surrounding communities.

Information residents provide will help coordinate activities to reduce the risk of injury or property damage in the future.

Residents can go to the Aberdeen Township Web site for more information at www.aberdeennj.org/emergency_planning. html.
