Lomax to visit YMCA's open house Feb. 23

The Community YMCA's Children's Achievement Center, 745 Poole Ave., Hazlet, will host Lomax of the PBS series, "Lomax, the Hound of Music" at its open house Feb. 23 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Lomax is part of the Melody Hounds music program offered in YMCAs nationwide. The Melody Hounds preschool pro- gram is designed to enhance the musical development of children ages 2 ½ to 6 by incorporating music into everyday life. Light refreshments will be served and children may sing, talk to and take pictures with Lomax.
