'Child Find' under way in Hazlet Township

Hazlet Township public schools have announced its "Child Find" identification for residents of Hazlet Township. Parents of a child ages 3-21 who may be experiencing physical, sensory, communication, cognitive or social difficulties are asked to call the school district at (732) 264-8402 to arrange for an appointment and/or referral to the child study team.

The district is responsible for locating, identifying and evaluating all children ages 3-21 who may be disabled. Included in Child Find are public and nonpublic children ages 3-5 (preschool) and children who are highly mobile such as migrant and homeless students.

For more information, call Susan Galbraith at special services at (732) 264-8402.
