Vincent Kaighn Nirella

Mr. Nirella, 84, ofMiddletown, died Feb. 12, 2008, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. He was a librarian with the Middletown Township Library System for more than 20 years, retiring in 1987. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II and with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Mr. Nirella was predeceased by a brother, Daniel Nirella. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jane; a son and daughter-in-law, Vincent D. and Deborah Nirella of Raleigh, N.C.; two daughters and sons-in-law,Mary Jane and Jamie Snider of Indialantic, Fla., and Nancy and Raymond Kotch of Hazlet; and five grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Colts Neck. Arrangements were by John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
