Quick Chek to donate to local fire departments

MIDDLETOWN -- Quick Chek will donate a portion of sales to local fire companies to thank the Middletown and Keansburg fire departments for their heroic efforts when battling a fire at the Route 35 Cherry Tree Farm shopping center store on Feb. 9.

According to a Quick Chek press release, to show its gratitude for the courageous firefighting efforts, upon the reopening of the store, Quick Chek will do- nate $0.25 for every sub purchased.

The Quick Chek location is currently slated to reopen in one to two months upon completion of repairs from the fire damage.

Quick Chek is a privately owned, family operated chain that operates more than 100 retail locations in New Jersey and southern New York, Quick Chek's retail locations include 12 pharmacy stores and 13 locations with fuel.
