Resident proposes buying open space for Middletown
Iwould like to see Middletown declare a moratorium on building.

The latest assault on our town is the destruction of acres of trees on Harmony Road. For what?More condos. Don't we already have an excess of them, to say nothing about the inventory of houses?

How will they market these new monstrosities? Views! Look out on the gym parking lot or the back of stores in the ShopRite mall.

I do not understand why people can't understand that more is not better, because it means more of everything: police, fire, schools, etc. It does not reduce our tax burden, it increases it. And to top it off there will have to be a light at the junction of the new building.

The best buy is open space.
