Beyond: Visions of Planetary Landscapes
View the planets in a Smithsonian Traveling Exhibition at the Monmouth Museum through May 4.

"Three Jupiter Shots"
"Beyond: Visions of Planetary Landscapes" paints a rarely seen and mesmerizing portrait of our solar system's planets and their moons. Artist Michael Benson has digitally processed data from NASA and European Space Agency missions to create seamless photographs of unprecedented clarity and realism. Benson creates views of every planet in the Solar System and reveals the beauty, mystery and drama of space.

Featuring 35 large-scale framed prints containing 59 individual photographs, this exhibition made its national touring debut at the Monmouth Museum on March 9.

The exhibition is organized by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service (SITES).

The Monmouth Museum is located on the campus of Brookdale Community College on Newman Springs Road in Lincroft. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and 1-5 p.m. Sundays. Admission is $7, and free for children under age 2, museum members and Brookdale students and staff with valid ID. Call (732) 747-2266 or visit www.monmouthmuseum.org.
