Artists look at impacts of sprawl
The Shore Institute of the Contemporary Arts (SICA) in Long Branch is hosting an exhibition titled "Sprawling" through April 4.T

"Electric 1" by Leah Oates
h e show highlights artists whose work investigates the changes that occur on the social, political, economic, ecological and geographic levels when a populated area stretches, swells, spreads and sprawls.

"Sprawling" is coordinated to run simultaneously with similar exhibitions at Jersey City Museum, Ramapo College, The Rahway Artist Guild and the Hunterdon Museum. Artists invited to participate at SICA include: Michael Ashkin, Tiffany Calvert, Ray Chiste, Erinn Frayer, Susanna Heller, Lucas Monaco, Julian Montague, Leah Oates, JoAnne Schiavone, Margot Balboni, David Maisel and Nathan Smith.
