Teen Arts Festival March 18, 19

The Monmouth County Arts Council's 2008 Teen Arts Festival is an opportunity for teens ages 13-19 to experience all disciplines of the arts and to participate in workshops, performances, exhibits and critiques. The two-day event is hosted in collaboration with Brookdale Community College

BCC) on the campus March 18 and 19. The Visual Arts Show of 2- and 3-D artworks will be exhibited throughout the gallery and hallways of the Center for Visual Arts building. During the two festival days, 20 artists/teachers will present workshops and master classes, 23 professional artists will adjudicate student work in musical and visual art, performance, creative writing and film, and offer positive critique and suggestions. Spoken word, a film forum, a museum scavenger hunt andArtistsWalks are part of this year's festival.
