Corodemus joins Middletown law firm
MIDDLETOWN- Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla announces that former Assemblyman Steven J. Corodemus, of Atlantic Highlands, has joined the firm as counsel and will practice in the environmental and real estate, land-use and development practice areas.
Prior to joining the firm, Corodemus served eight terms as a member of the New Jersey General Assembly, representing the 11th Legislative District that comprises 25 Monmouth County municipalities. As an assemblyman, he served as chairman of the Assembly Environment, Science and Technology Committee and also as a member of the General Assembly Budget; Appropriations, Economic Development; Education; Financial Institutions; Health; Housing; Insurance, Banking, Health; and Senior Services committees.
He has served as president of the Atlantic Highlands Borough Council and vice chairman of the Monmouth County Planning Board and subdivision and site plan subcommittee. He serves on the boards of trustees for Monmouth Medical Center, the American Red Cross Jersey Shore Chapter and the Visiting Nurse Association of Central New Jersey.
In January 2008, he received the Guardian of Small Business Award fromthe National Federation of Independent Businesses in recognition of his outstanding efforts to support small business issues throughout his tenure in the New Jersey Legislature.
