The second annual "WalkWith the Animals" will take place April 26 at 9 a.m. in Keyport. The 1.5-mile walk sponsored by the Keyport Business Alliance is a benefit for Castle of Dreams Animal Rescue, Keyport. Refreshments, and costume and talent shows will follow the walk at Beach Park.  | | The Arthritis Foundation, New Jersey Chapter, has named Jeffrey Fischetti, 11, of Aberdeen, Youth Chair of the 2008 Bergen County Arthritis Walk to be held at Bergen County Community College May 18. The Arthritis Walk takes place in communities nationwide to raise funds and awareness to fight arthritis, the nation's leading cause of disability. This spring, Arthritis Walk events will kick off in more than 400 communities. Jeffrey, who was diagnosed at the age of 7, is determined to not let his condition put a damper on his life. As a fifth grader, he is athletic and participates in baseball and karate. Jeffrey's school, Lloyd Road School inAberdeen, sponsored a Juvenile Arthritis Hat Day April 18 to support juvenile arthritis awareness and raise donations for the Arthritis Foundation. Teams are forming now for the Arthritis Walk on Sunday, May 18, at the college.
