Mary R. Stoeckel

Mrs. Stoeckel, 67, of Hazlet, died April 14, 2008, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. She was a nurse's aide at King James Nursing Home, Navesink section of Middletown, for 17 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph C. Stoeckel; a son, Ralph Stoeckel in 2003; and two sisters, Claire and Cynthia. She is survived by two sons, Kevin Stoeckel and Steven Stoeckel Sr., both of Hazlet; two daughters and a son-in-law, Nanette and Peter Smith Sr. of South Carolina, and Carol Leonard of Nutley; a daughter-in-law,Maryann Stoeckel of Middletown; a brother, Bernard McDonald of Fort Lee, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Interment was at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown. Arrangements were by Day Funeral Home, Keyport.
