Mary J. Christopher Mrs. Christopher, 80, of Howell died March 8 at Paul Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. Born in Jersey City, she resided in Lehigh Acres, Fla., for five years, Hazlet for 40 years and Howell for eight years. Mrs. Christopher was predeceased by her husband, George W. in 1998 and a daughter, Coleen Fitzpatrick in 2005. Surviving are her children and their spouses, Deborah and James Elefante of Little Egg Harbor, George and Lynn Christopher and Michael and Beth Christopher of West Keansburg, Leslie and Robert Burke of Howell; a sister, Kathleen Knowles of Lehigh Acres, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Keyport, followed by interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Keyport. Arrangements were handled by the Day Funeral Home, Keyport.
