Early-bird registration for Scouts under way

Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore has announced that early-bird registration for Girl Scouts is now under way.

Girls are eligible for a 50 percent discount on one of several fall programs, and an early-bird patch. Financial assistance is available to individuals who qualify. Once paid, dues are nonrefundable. There are two Girl Scout Council service centers: one in Toms River and one in Farmingdale. Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore serves approximately 16,500 girls in Monmouth and Ocean counties. Programs and twoday camps are tailored for girls age 5 and older.
