Watercolor show in Little Silver

Thomas Wilczewski, Long Branch watercolorist, is exhibiting his watercolors at the Little Silver Borough Hall through June. The public is invited.

Among the many paintings that will be on display are local scenes as well as scenes of Upstate NewYork, the Hudson River, Adirondacks, Central Park, landscapes, seascapes as well as florals.

Wilczewski is an award-winning artist whose paintings have appeared on greeting cards and calendars by VSA arts of New Jersey, Christopher Reeve Foundation, The Polio Network of New Jersey as well as many other groups.

He is an elected member of the New York and New Jersey American Artists Professional League, and an exhibiting member of the Guild of Creative Arts in Shrewsbury.

Soar Productions will hold auditions for "The Secret Garden," a musical based on the novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett. The Shadow Lawn Stage at Monmouth University presents "Wait Until Dark" by Frederick Knott will run through June 22 at theWoods Theatre. ShellyMcPherson stars as Susy Hendrix, a blind Greenwich Village housewife. Her husband, played by Brendan Ryan, has transported a doll fromCanada as a favor to a woman who has since been murdered. The drama opens as Susy is targeted by three thugs searching for the heroin hidden in the doll. Come see what ingenious surprises await in the shocking conclusion.
