The Holmdel-based Citizens for Informed Land Use (CILU) group will participate in its third NY/NJ Baykeeper Eco-Cruise.

The Navesink River Tour will pass scenic Jersey Shore towns, pristine salt marshes and sedge islands, forest covered bluffs and a wide variety of commercial and pleasure boats.

The tour will leave from the Keyport waterfront aboard the Captain John 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 27 and return by 7:30 p.m.

Deborah Mans, executive director of NY/NJ Baykeeper will narrate the trip. Tickets are $45 and $40 for children under 12. NY/NJ Baykeeper will provide sandwiches, and CILU will contribute wine.

CILU has reserved 60 of 100 seats, and asks interested parties to please RSVP by July 7 to guarantee a seat. Reservations will be taken up to July 15, subject to seat availability.

E-mail or call Jenni Blumenthal at jblumenthal@comcast.net or 732.264.8482 to RSVP.

Checks should be made out to CILU, and mailed to CILU, 41 Stoney Brook Road, Holmdel, NJ 07733.
