Tyler Edward O'Steen

Tyler O'Steen, 8, of Keyport, died July 20, 2008, at Memorial Health University Medical Center, Savannah, Ga. Born in Long Branch, he was a lifelong resident of Keyport. He was a student at Keyport Central School. He enjoyed Pop Warner football, Bayshore Little League baseball, and wrestling. He was part of Potholders R Us, which donated to Sunshine House, Point Pleasant. He is survived by his parents, Marcus Daniel and Tammy Schaber O'Steen; a sister and brother, Alexandra "Lexi" and Daniel "Danny," both at home; his maternal grandparents, Joyce and Edward Schaber of Whiting; his paternal grandparents, Maryellen and Marcus O'Steen of the Cliffwood Beach section of Old Bridge; his maternal great-grandmother, Catherine Schaber of Hazlet; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Jesus the Lord Church, Keyport. Interment was at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Keyport. Arrangements were by Day Funeral Home, Keyport.
