Registration now open for Timmy's Tour de Shore

Registration is now open for the Timothy Pauxtis Foundation Timmy's Tour de Shore Oct. 12 at Fort Hancock, Sandy Hook. Participants registered by Sept. 28 receive a T-shirt and wristband. Online registration ends Oct. 11. Check in is 7:30 a.m., and the ride begins at 8:30 a.m.

The tour consists of a "Challenge Ride," and "Family Rides" of either 2- or 8-mile loops. Proceeds support pediatric brain tumor research. The event will also feature face painting, music, a bounce house, crafts, balloon artists and other activities. Drinks and snacks will be available to riders following the tour.
