Applications taken for advocate training

The nonprofit organization 180 Turning Lives Around, Hazlet, is accepting applications for its sexual violence advocate training, to be held Saturdays Jan. 17- March 7, at Little Silver Women's Club, Rumson Road and Church Street. Training provides volunteers with the tools necessary to advocate for survivors of sexual violence. Twenty-four hour supervision is in place, as well as team leader support and regular meetings and ongoing training.
