Locals at the finish line at Poricy run

Poricy Park Conservatory's annual Trail Run was held in Middletown in conjunction with the Jersey Shore Running Club on a brisk Dec. 6.
MIDDLETOWN — The Poricy Park Conservancy held its annual Trail Run on Saturday, Dec. 6, in cooperation with the Jersey Shore Running Club.

Locals made a strong showing among the winners for the different races, and included the following: Matthew Schaad of West Belmar, first place, 5K male, 19:30; Victoria Coglanese, Middletown, first place, 5K female, 24:24; Kyle Shaughnessy, Howell, first place, 5-mile male, 33:39; Lauren Rhatigan, Ship Bottom, first place, 5-mile female, 36:43; Sammi Shekian, Middletown, first place, 2K, 14:44; Alexis Mason, Middletown, second place, 2K, 14:46; and Cassie Kokulak, Middletown, third place, 2K, 24:19.
