Bayshore biz group to sponsor forum HAZLET — The newly formed Bayshore Business Conference will host its first event, a public forum for public officials and business owners, in April. According to Bayshore Business Conference Chairwoman Anna Little, the group was formed to provide a public forum for county and local officials and business owners in the Bayshore area of Northern Monmouth County. The two-day event is planned for 7-9 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, April 16-17, at the Cullen Center, 1776 Union Ave. The conference committee began planning in January and during February; the group appointed Little, who is mayor of Highlands, as its chairwoman; and Andy Bace, a member of the Hazlet Township Planning Board, as vice chairman. "To put it simply, the Bayshore Business Conference is seeking to hold an event that will be practical, informative and responsive to business people in this part of Monmouth County," Little said. Other members of the group include Atlantic Highlands Mayor Fred Rast, Hazlet businessman Tom Kelly and Hazlet resident Steve Grossman, among others.
