Diocese closes door on Bayshore school proposal
Bishop rejects merger of three schools

      KEYPORT — A proposal to combine three Bayshore Catholic schools into one has been rejected by the Diocese of Trenton. According to Rayanne Bennett, chief communications officer for the diocese, Bishop John M. Smith has rejected the latest proposal put forth by a group of school supporters.
