St. John's United Methodist Church, 2000 Florence Ave., Hazlet, will hold a clothing drive 4-7 p.m. May 29, and 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. May 30. Needed are gently used, clean clothing; shoes, handbags, belts, ties, hats, bedding, curtains, towels, stuffed animals and other items. Items must be in garbage bags, and may be dropped at the back of the church. All items will be sent to Africa, Central and South America, India and Poland. Keyport Historical Society has announced the Steamboat Dock Museum, Broad Street at American Legion Drive, Keyport, will open 1-4 p.m. May 31. Exhibits will be Keyport's history of steamboats, aeromarine plane manufacturing and oystering. Museum hours are 1-4 p.m. Sundays and 1-3 p.m. Mondays.

A meeting, and genealogy program, "Who Do You Say I Am? Leaving a Trail," will be 7:30 p.m. June 1. Speakers from the Monmouth County Genealogy Society will discuss how to ensure that future generations get a picture of your life, and you will be remembered as a person, not as a statistic. Light desserts and refreshments will be available after the meeting and presentation. Admission is free. A "Trash & Treasure" flea market will be 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. June 13 at the museum. Knights of Columbus St. Joseph's Council 3402, Keyport, will hold its annual picnic June 7 at Monmouth Park, Oceanport. More information will be available. For information, call 732-264-9729. A Sunday Breakfast — Family Style will be 8:30-11 a.m. June 14. Cost is $6, $5 for seniors and children, and free for children younger than age 5. The council is supporting Birthright, and is seeking donations of packaged diapers or a monetary donation. All Birthright services are free. The preschool at Temple Beth Ahm of Aberdeen, 550 Lloyd Road, will present "An Awesome Family Activity: Musical Morning with Yosi," at 11 a.m. on May 31. Children's musician Yosi Levin will perform various songs for children. Refreshments will be available for purchase. Cost is $20 for a family of four, or $6 per person. Matawan-Aberdeen Public Library, 1645 Main St., will present films during June beginning with "Slumdog Millionaire," on June 1; "Vicky Christina Barcelona" June 8; "Seven Pounds" on June 15; and "Last Chance Harvey on June 22. All are at 2:30 p.m. and free. "Building a Simple Web Page" will be on June 15, and blood pressure and body fat testing on June 17, both at 7 p.m. Both are free, but registration is required and may be done by calling the library at 732-583-9100.

St. Mary's Travel Group will hold a trip to Showboat Casino, Atlantic City, from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on June 16. Reservations must be made by June 2. Cost is $25 for transportation and a $30 slot play rebate. The bus will depart Mater Dei High School, 19 Cherry Tree Farm Road, New Monmouth section of Middletown.
